Below is an invitation to a special personal visit with Rachael Jayne Groover and her husband Datta. 1. Be aware of your energy. The more familiar you are with how you mange and shape your energy the more you can be in charge of what happens and your responses to events and people. During an interaction feel the energy in your body.  If there is something that feels unpleasant, especially re: a power issue, you can place your hand over your solar plexus, your midriff, and say “you have no power here now.”

2. If you are aware that you have been attached to through energy cords, use imagery to detach them. Gently extricate them and send them lovingly back to the one who “corded in”. Also intend to gently and with care return your energy to the place the cord was released from. Return to your center.

3. Create strong healthy boundaries through your energy filed and refuse to engage. (It takes more than one.)

4. Know that you have a choice. Become mindful, present to the moment and calmly choose your response– which can be to not engage.

5. Make it a practice to get quiet, work with your mind power, center and ground your energy via your breath.

6. Keep your energy strong through making it a habit to frequently intentionally flow strong, vibrant energy through your body, filling in any empty spots and smoothly out any irregularities.

7. If someone habitually drains your energy, intentionally (and wordlessly) flow energy toward their feet, in your mind say “ you can do this for yourself”.

“Appreciating Beauty in the Bottom 80” is a study of teens who were not top achievers. One important finding of this study was that many of these students had gifts that conflict with their educational environment.  

 The author of this study, Christine Duvivier, will be our featured guest Monday, Jan. 11, 2009 at 10 A.M. Christine will be speaking about the how to understand and unleash the full potential in teens who are not “A” students and also how to improve lifetime happiness for all students.

Family get togethers, office parties, neighborhood gatherings—at this time of year we have so any opportunities for encountering the relationship dynamics that exist in our lives. At other times of the year they may be less apparent, more able to recede into the background or be avoided but the holidays bring us right up against them!

 A major necessity for healthy relationships that work for all involved are good boundaries. Without them we fall into victimhood, feel out of control and overwhelmed by the demands, needs and desires of those around us.

 How can we begin to approach this issue of establishing healthy boundaries?

 1. Develop self respect, self love and self acceptance. We have all heard that we need to care for ourselves before we can to truly care for others. This must become a reality that lives within you instead of simply an idea that exists in your mind. 

2. Boundaries are not about conflict, acting against another or doing something TO them. Boundaries are about identifying what YOU will do, be, tolerate or expect in a relationship. With healthy boundaries you take charge of your self—you do not and cannot control others.

3. Bring your focus back to yourself instead of trying to be in another’s head—attempting to mind read them. Be clear on your values. Identify your beliefs about what is important and healthy for you.

4. Center and ground within your own energy field.  Work with techniques that help you to connect with your core, practicing until you can reliably contact the peace and love that naturally exists there. Develop the ability to maintain that focus, learn to live from that center instead of attempting to think or analyze your way through each relationship situation. Working in this way provides you with a more reliable means of creating healthy boundaries out of which flows the most appropriate and kind response to others.

 On Monday, December 21, 2009 we will be discussing more about boundaries and how to take charge of your energy. We will be talking about three common types of energetic interactions and how to make them positive for you and others. In addition, we will be introducing four patterns that are used to maintain control, fill up energy reserves and attempt to get needs met. As with the three types of energy flows between people, these patterns can have a positive or negative influence. It is your awareness, knowledge and ability to manage your energy that makes the difference. So don’t go into the holiday  gatherings unprotected and unprepared —learn what is going on beneath the surface of social dynamics and you can sail through the holidays energized, rested and able to truly enjoy the season!

On our radio show on Monday we began a two part discussion on the energy of relationship and how to shift out of old patterns through that awareness.

We have been recreating the role of relationship in our lives for sometime now. Energy has a great deal to teach us about how we can enhance participation in our relationships to make our own lives happier and more fulfilling, and it seems according to Barbara Max Hubbard that we may also be able to bring more creativity to the world through high energy relationships! 1. Each strong thought or emotion creates a response in your energy field

Your energy field is your primary immune system and you can learn to support and strengthen it so it will serve you in every facet of your life!

 As youwork with your field, enhancing its strength and coherency, you’re not locked in to energy patterns unconsciously. This means you can adapt to circumstances and flow with life more easily. This ability provides you with a profound sense of empowerment anda deep inner peace in addition to the health and relationship benefits!

 The ability to manage your energy is a major bonus in attracting healthy relationships, as well as in maintaining them and being able to create deep and lasting bonds.
