Identifying Blocks and Balancing Throat Chakra Energy

When our Throat Chakra energy is impaired we may not honestly articulate our truth, or do so in a half hearted way. There may also be a tendency to put up a brave front and not speak about inner hurt, pain or turmoil.  Obviously this stymies communication, but it also weakens our capacity to stand for ourselves and our ideals in order that dreams may be realized.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is the tendency to talk too much thereby draining vital energy. Negative habits such as gossiping are a sign of this … actually obsessive behavior of any kind can be a sign of the inability to assimilate energy and communicate in healthy ways.

An open and balanced throat chakra allows for free expression of yourself and your beliefs; your creativity flows; your emotions are communicated freely without fear of others’ opinions.

Benefits of Balanced Throat Chakra Energy
Working with the throat chakra can help to transcend fear and transmute the lower emotions to unconditional joy. This energy center also has a lot to do with the ability to hold an awareness of both the subtle & the material worlds.

Stimulating the throat chakra can help increase the richness and tone of your voice. It can endow you with skill in language, the ability to write, as well as with the capacity to understand messages in dreams and to be an effective teacher. Jupiter is the planet that rules this chakra and in India Jupiter represents the Spiritual Teacher. Meditating on this chakra can bring deep insight into the past, present and future along with the capacity to communicate that wisdom.

Assessing Your Throat Chakra Energy
Do you think what you have to say is important? (too little=deficient energy, too much = excess energy)
What is your experience re: sense of timing? (are you in the right place at the right time? feel out of sync?)
How’s your sense of rhythm? (think about music, walking, dancing, moving in general)
Have you been chastised or put down for your expression of ideas, feelings or actions?
Do you carry tension in your jaw, neck or shoulders?
Are frequent sore throats or hoarseness an issue?
Do you feel no one listens to or loves you?

Techniques for Balance
Be aware of when you want to say “No” instead of reflexively saying “Yes”
Discover your inner truth (as you feel it today–it changes over time) ; practice speaking it
Notice when you talk too much or too little- balancing the throat chakra will shift this
Use sound, color and tone to balance this chakra (see Energy Aerobics for this approach to chakras)
Guided Chakra Meditations includes 10 minute meditations for each chakra

Chanting is a wonderful way to meditate and develop all the chakras, but in particular the throat as this is its home base!  The sound for the throat chakra is ee. The syllable for the throat is HAM. Also any singing that you do can help bring openness and balance to the throat.

Choice, Voice, Higher Will and Karma

Wednesday, February 1st, 2012
2010-05-05-12-15-16

“The fifth chakra is the center of choice and consequence, of spiritual karma.  Every choice we make, every thought and feeling we have, is an act of power that has biological, environmental, social, personal and global consequences.  We are everywhere our thoughts are and thus our personal responsibility includes our energy contributions. Anatomy of the Spirit, Caroline Myss,

Have ever wondered why teenagers are so compelled to be in contact with their peers on an almost constant basis? You are watching the development of the throat chakra in action! Whenever there is active development of a chakra’s energy within a person we see activity related to that chakra in the outer world. Teens are developing their throat chakra so they are very drawn to the expression of the issues regulated by this energy center. In particular they are interested in finding their voice, and exerting their will!   As we know from our own experience as well as from observation, discernment regarding these issues is typically not present! Those are a function of the sixth chakra which has not developed yet (it is next in line). So what we see at this stage is a constant flow of interaction —it is simply an itch that must be scratched!

The throat chakra is most often thought about in terms of communication, but it is so much more than that in actuality. It has to do with a sense of rhythm and timing, feeling that we have a choice as well as awareness and attunement to where that choice   originates, higher level creativity, self expression and listening.

All the chakras continue to develop throughout our lifetime– if we do not resist— with specific times when they are ‘ripe’ for growth from a higher level than the previous time. The throat center is up for more development in midlife as we seek to find a new or lost voice that is more deeply grounded in who we have become through our life experience. In midlife the spiritual imperative or task of this chakra, aligning our will with a higher will comes into view. The creative impulse of this chakra has to do with bringing through manifestations that carry the vibration of the Divine and integrating them with our humanity.

Sphere of influence of the Throat Chakra
The Throat Chakra is located in the front of the neck in the same area as the Adam’s Apple and the Pharyngeal Nerve Plexus.

Physically this chakra governs the Thyroid, Parathyroid, Trachea, Esophagus, Hypothalamus, Neck, Mouth, and Jaw. Physical problems in this energy center can manifest as trouble with any of those related structures, as well as with an inability to release or express, a block in the creative flow, or in stiffness of the neck and shoulders.

The main functions of the throat chakra are: communication, maturation of will, power of choice, metabolism, growth, and the regulation of calcium

The element of the throat chakra is akasha which means ether or limitless space or sky. Every chakra contains this element, but in combination with the other elements that are embodied within them. The throat chakra is pure ether and thus it is more clearly linked to pure consciousness.

The sense related to the throat chakra is hearing. Opening your throat chakra means not only hearing others and developing empathy; it also involves listening to yourself through attuning to your heart in silence. In doing so, you realize that silence can hold a great deal of information, wisdom and guidance. On the other hand commands to be silent can contribute to blockages in the throat.

Sacral Chakra: Emotional Intelligence and Power

Thursday, January 19th, 2012
English: Logo Connecting Emotional Intelligence

Image via Wikipedia

The Sacral Chakra is located in the pelvis approximately three finger widths below the navel and it develops between 3 and 8 years of age. With proper support at this stage we learn about feelings and how to express and manage them. With adequate guidance, modeling and mirroring a healthy sense of entitlement (deserving) and self worth are developed. The second chakra is the seat of our emotions and regulates the flow and distribution of energy.

Physically the sacral is associated with the health of the reproductive organs and hips. It also governs the body’s liquids, E. G. blood, lymph, mucus, saliva. Health issues that reflect an imbalance in this chakra occur in the areas mentioned.

Metaphors From Water
The sacral chakra’s element is water. As we think about the qualities of water we can get a felt sense of how second chakra energy functions in our lives. Nature clearly demonstrates both the power and attributes of water and reflects the possible states for the manifestation of our energy.

Water can be smooth and flowing as in a river stream, it can pack the power of ocean waves crashing on the shore; it can be stagnant as a pond that receives no fresh and cleansing input. Water can be as refreshing as a mountain lake, cold as the frozen tundra or volatile as steam exploding from a too tight container. Water can be refreshing, life giving and life enhancing. However, too much or too little water can be a problem as can stagnation, or the lack of containment. These, as we all know, can be harmful or destructive. And so it can be with the emotional power of the second chakra.

Construction or Destruction—Your Choice
The sacral chakra has been described as a dark interior cave where all manner of demons lie but it also holds some of the most profound raw material for the creation of our lives. The negative interpretation arises as the second chakra is where our most challenging shadow material is registered. It is up to us whether we choose to work with these energies so they become our allies or leave them unconscious where they become our inner enemies.

At best this energy center is the womb of creation. It is a place where new life gathers its power and is gestated until it is ripe and ready to be birthed into the world. It is a profound, complex and powerful center of our core nature.

My opinion is that a useful and productive way to approach this energy center is that of getting to know a multifaceted friend full of meaning who has wisdom and great gifts for us hidden beneath some pain. This friend needs kindness, compassion and acceptance. Once embraced in this way the full power of this mysterious interior spring can nurture our lives and be a source of resilience and emotional intelligence.

Emotional Symptoms of Imbalance
One clue that something is amiss in this energy center is feelings of shame or of having done something wrong. This feeling is different than the healthy guilt that comes from having actually broken a law, done harm or crossed a line that is against one’s own integrity. Shame is a sense of BEING wrong, flawed or bad in the deep inner fabric of your being. There may be confusion and lack of understanding of where this feeling came from. Often the origin of shame is the result of projected emotions from others early in a person’s life. These feelings are rooted deeply in the disowned feelings of others that got absorbed into the field of a growing child. Once something is inside us we feel it and that being so, we believe it is ours to own.

Other signs that there are issues or blocked energy in the second chakra are: difficulty appreciating life’s goodness; nothing seems good enough and depression can result. There can also be a sense of being stuck, of having no ability to adapt or change; there may be insensitivity to one’s own feelings and emotional needs and an inability to express emotion; there may be denial of pleasure with unyielding, strict and rigid self imposed boundaries—this can include healthy practices done in the extreme. An excess of energy in this center may show itself as a compulsion for pleasure and being extremely emotional.

At its best the sacral chakra is liquid and flowing providing an ability to be flexible and adaptable. However we can go too far in this direction as well and create imbalance. You know this is a problem if you feel in a constant state of flux with an inability to ground or set boundaries; there also may be a tendency to be overly emotional and dramatic.

Opening and balancing the sacral chakra fundamentally involves letting go of shame, unhealthy guilt and frustration and learning to go with the flow of life. Balancing the sacral chakra allows emotion to freely move through our systems. Just as flowing water is purifying, refreshing and revitalizing so it is with feelings set in motion without resistance that includes proper channeling. When the energy here is open, flowing and balanced we are responsive, intuitive, buoyant, and full of dreams and healthy desire.

An Antidote to Fear and Anxiety

Tuesday, January 17th, 2012
Italiano: Diagramma dei chakra e Kundalini

Image via Wikipedia

We all have fears and anxieties, real and imagined. They seem to be part of our human journey and perhaps are present to help us grow as souls. There was a time when I believed that knowledge alone could quell the fires of fear and quiet the anxieties that agitate the mind, breed turbulent emotions and disturb sleep. I found that not to be the case! Information can be a great first step, but by itself knowledge and the everyday mind are not equipped for the task of quieting the fears and anxieties that shake our foundations on our walk through life.

The discovery that it is necessary to have methods to transform knowledge into inner knowing, a felt experience that amends our default patterns, was a doorway to freedom for me. The most effective approaches I found were those that included personal energy work and the map of consciousness that the chakra system provides. Once I began to work with my energy system, I found life and living to become much more manageable… and even better—enjoyable and happy! In my opinion, understanding and knowing how to address our personal energy system  offers both a means to remove what agitates and troubles us, as well as the means to build in new self sustaining, nourishing and life enhancing energies.

Any journey toward healing or rebalancing necessarily begins with the root chakra as it is the foundation of our physical and psychological being. It is also the primary mover and shaker concerning fear and anxiety! Strong root chakra energies allow you to face life without being overtaken by unnecessary anxiety and to respond from a grounded strength to difficult, stress filled situations.

ROOT CHAKRA: Your Secret Ally
The root chakra is located at the base of your spine and is the first to develop after birth. This energy center is the foundation of your energy system, the seat of your physical vitality (Kundalini), and a cornerstone of psychological and spiritual well being.

Physically the root correlates with the adrenal glands and all bony structures….It provides support and a framework for both the physical and psychological body. We learn to crawl, walk and stand as the root chakra expands and comes online. In addition, first chakra energy also assists us with putting down roots in the world and standing on our own two feet.

Trauma, family stress and a lack of appropriate nurturing during the first few years of life can unbalance root chakra energies. Early disruption of this energy is recorded within the system and has the result of amplifying reactions to later losses or upsets such as loss of a job, living situation or person in your life. Who among us in the first five years of life did NOT have some circumstance that left its mark on our ability to feel totally safe and secure within the world? My experience is that it is part of the human condition and simply needs to be addressed and not denied or battled with ceaselessly

My Mother, My Self
The positive archetype for the root chakra is the Earth Mother. A person with strong, positive root energy honors and cares for the body as a sacred vessel that carries them in the material world. Physical needs are well cared for which results in healthy vitality as well as abundant energy to flow upward to nurture the higher chakras. The higher chakras help to expand your inner world, and open up greater creative manifestation and expanded spiritual experience.

Physically the root chakra governs the immune, skeletal and lower digestive systems. When root energies are out of balance the physical issues that present are: poor balance, sciatica, chronic fatigue, bowel disorders knee, and leg or foot problems.

Emotionally a lack of first chakra energy manifests as being too rigid and not being open to options for change…change can also be difficult if you are overly grounded —-this is evidenced through being overly controlling, or lacking in imagination or initiative.

If root energy is steady and balanced you can transcend fear—thoughts of loss do not disturb your inner peace, sap your strength or drain your vitality. Fear does not always show up as an outright anxiety disorder or phobia. It can also appear as shyness, dread or fear of criticism. Many people feel fear as an absence of security or as difficulty experiencing inner stability, safety and comfort.

Strong balanced Root Chakra energy enables you to:
Be open to opportunities that can emerge from the unknown
Experience an inner source of comfort, soothing and ease
Tolerate ambiguity, paradox and not knowing
Move through change with more fluidity
Feel inner security, stability and safety
Care for self in healthy ways

Energy, Chakras, Meditation: Moving Beyond Ego

Monday, November 7th, 2011
[SinglePic not found]

Eckhart Tolle speaks of a deep sense of aliveness within human beings that is beyond the ego mind—-the energy of consciousness that pervades all living things. This energy flows unimpeded until it is shaped by something–our attention, intention, habits, and beliefs lodged in our subconscious minds.

Our ego is that part of our mind that is conscious and at best performs an executive function in our lives. At its worst it confuses, confounds and keeps us stuck in places we would rather not be! Like many other things, the ego is an excellent servant but a poor master! Unfortunately for many of us, the ego has become dominant. We tend to totally identify with it, that is we rely on our conscious thinking mind to the exclusion of other aspects of ourselves that could help us untie our inner knots. The chakras that form our energy bodies can help us move beyond this impasse to a place where we can claim some freedom from the tyranny of our minds, open up the creative flow of our energy and channel it toward our goals, dreams and aspirations.

The Ego cannot survive in stillness. That being the case, meditation is a wonderful place to begin to help quiet the ego and calm our nonproductive emotions. It is also a way that we begin to develop a more subtle awareness and be able to tap into our energy systems. Then we can get a better idea of what is controlling us from unconsciousness. Once there we have a direct line into where our issues live with the result that we can more easily release them and remodel our interior.

Combining chakra “work” with a meditative practice can turbo charge your efforts to move forward in your life.

We are all human and so have very real issues and dilemmas to deal with.  Learning to work with our energy specifically can help move out of the mind clutter into a space where true healing can occur. This effectively opens up more space inside and we have more energy available to connect with higher levels of  creativity and  awareness. We also gain the ability to bring spiritual energy down into our physical being and ground it rather than simply escaping into the ethers. This makes us more efficient, wise, compassionate, tolerant and loving beings.

To be able to truly move beyond the ego, the lower mind with its average thinking process, into the realm of pure awareness or higher consciousness, requires detachment from the compelling vibrations of lower thought and feeling forms. Working with your energy centers: clearing, balancing and uplifting your energetic frequency allows you to both move into the  realm of the higher mind with ease and to bring the higher energies into your physical being. This process is not an act of will, although it does require willingness….it is not an act of force, although it is powerful.

Release of Energy Blockages

Types of Chakra Blockages
Jams within a chakra can occur when external circumstances make it unsafe to remain open. This situation can also result when there is too much intensity and the energy of a particular chakra does not continue to flow freely. Over time a pattern of ‘holding’ takes root. Tension in the body can help reveal where blocks and jams are to be found. Knowing what specific beliefs are associated with each chakra can also lend information about the location of blocks. Our new program Sacred Truths  helps to identify areas of blockage in your energy system, as well as provides you with tools to help you release them.

The way to work with this type of block is to gently work to open it. Generally, the best way to approach any change or personal growth is with gradual, positive forward movement. This approach is more apt to create stable results than trying to shock ourselves into healing!

Work slowly with an attitude of gentle persistent kindness toward yourself. When we work to open and free up energy within our minds and bodies, old feelings and emotions may arise. This is a natural and vital part of the healing and transition process.

During an active healing process, it is important to routinely use techniques that help to self soothe, release intensity and provide an experience of inner safety. This is also important to do anytime since it is a vital aspect for balance in life. During healing these tools play an essential role in building strength and energy. The release of old beliefs and the ‘leftovers’ of unprocessed emotional issues can then happen more easily

Methods that involve the use of imagery and metaphor can be of particular help in this process as they not only facilitate developing new strength, but they also assist in establishing new, more desirable qualities. In addition, they contribute to an experience of inner knowing.   Through accessing a different level of skill we arrive at a new sense of inner power and a profound trust in our expanded self.

Spasm
Spasms occur in chakras that are usually open. A traumatic or stressful event or situation can trigger a sharp sudden closure. This can reverse itself on its own over the time.  Often when a spasm is the problem, you will experience physical discomfort in the area of the chakra involved. Blocked energy can then become stagnant in that area. If such a situation remains too long, physical symptoms may develop in the adjacent physical organs or organ systems.

 Diminished Flow
This is the most common type of block. Energy flow is diminished rather than completely blocked. The negative energy is distributed over a broad area, so is harder to detect. Fear is a very common cause of this condition.

Removing Blockages
Blocks to the free flow of energy can be removed through a variety of approaches. Practitioners skilled in massage, energy work or acupuncture can assist you in relieving them. Generally insight alone is not usually enough to release a block. Some traditional therapists use techniques such as EFT, EMDR, hypnosis, imagery or inner child techniques and these can be helpful.

There is also a great deal that you can do on your own to identify and release these obstructions and restore balance to the free flow of energy through your being. The more serious or longstanding a problem, the more likely you will need professional assistance. However, you can greatly enhance your treatment through understanding, awareness and personal integration of energetic self help tools.

As previously mentioned imagery skills are particularly powerful on a variety of levels. In addition to the advantages already covered, imagery skills provide the ability to explore energy system, locate disruptions, remove obstacles, release and balance energy. Meditation, breathwork, active visualization, sound and music are also potent ways to influence energy.

In addition to our newest program, Sacred Truths, there are several other options in our store, https://www.livingenergyworks.com/store/?ccUser= that can help teach you to manage your energy effectively for  decreased stress, enhanced intuition, improved health, well being and prosperity. Each of these programs takes a slightly different approach and offers you a variety of options for transforming the energy of your life.

Energy: Antidote to Stress

Wednesday, October 26th, 2011

pace19 When we are stressed or threatened, our flow of energy is increased to prepare us for fight or flight. If neither of these is possible or chosen, we override the impulse even though the body has been energized. Repetition of situations that we cannot overcome  results in living with an energetic contradiction of activation and inhibition. This influx of energy at times of stress is a defense that allows us to survive and function in the short term. It is not meant to be a permanent condition.

If trauma or stress is repeated over time with no safe place to release and discharge the energy it becomes frozen. This condition of frozen intensity is known as tonic immobility or the freeze response. A portion of the energy gets locked in the trauma and free
expression is inhibited. This certainly happens with overwhelming trauma, but can also occur as a result of chronic repetitive levels of stress. Damage to our energy can also occur through physical injury, emotional hurt, or lack of attention to a particular part of our selves: E.G. overdeveloping the intellect to the detriment of the emotional body—common in our culture.

Damage to our system is manifested through limited belief systems, conditioned responses, restrictive & exhausting habits.  As we work to change limiting beliefs and balance the energy system, our reactive, conditioned responses and old habits can more easily be released. The result is that energy is returned to the system and it becomes easier to develop new more powerful ways of approaching the challenges of life.

 Energy Excess/Deficiency

Our energy is our power. Binding it or dissipating contributes to powerlesness.

To cope with stress we are inclined to increase, decrease or freeze our energy. An increase or excess of energy to cope is manifested as a pattern of overcompensation for fear or weakness. We see this in people who dominate situations and people. On the surface this may look like a powerful approach. However, internally the excessive energy required to accomplish this behavioral style tends to become stagnate and create a health problem for the individual in whatever area of the body the excess was accumulated.

A decrease in energy or a freezing response is manifested in withdrawal in order to avoid conflict or challenge. This deficient energy state results in a feeling of being unable to cope, or have what it takes to work through situations, hence they retreat. Unfortunately this often has the consequence of reinforcing the original state and the person experiences even more of a sense of emptiness, restriction, and uselessness.

Our bodies and habits give us clues as to how we are managing our energies in response to stress. In addition to behavior, an outward manifestation of how we are managing energy is reflected in the shape our body takes, as well as in how we carry ourselves.

On the positive side, our energy system is highly responsive to change and there are a wide variety of approaches that can be used for transformation. Watch for our soon to be released recording, Sacred Truths that provides not only information about your energy field and chakras but also tools for bringing healing and realignment  to your system. In addition to working with your internal states, we also correlate your energy body and its individual centers with the space of your home to demonstrate how you can use the ancient art of feng shui to bring more peace, harmony and balance to both your inner and outer world.

The Dance of Chakras,Energy and Memory

Monday, October 24th, 2011
Turkish Sufi whirling dervishes.

Image via Wikipedia

Generally we all know that our memories travel with us on our journey through life. We have not known exactly how or where those memories are stored, but we do know that they are ‘present’ with us. Our memories may be momentarily forgotten, or they may haunt us. They may at times come crashing into our awareness like an uninvited guest! Or they may at other times come drifting sweetly in to remind us of times spent in peace, beauty, joy and love. And of course they can emerge from our depths to instruct and inform us of unfinished business or teach us a valuable truth we need to grasp.

Many healthcare practitioners from a variety of disciplines have observed memory being triggered as a result of stimulation of the body. They have also reported the opposite occurrence where the memory creates a change in the body. But again, the knowledge of how this was taking place has not been ours to know until fairly recently.

In research from a variety of sources there has been a progression in the understanding of how memory becomes imprinted from mind to body from a simple biochemical one to one that involves a variety of mechanisms but essentially begins with our energy system.

The field of Pyschoneuroimmunology provides an understanding of the process from a neurological and biochemical perspective. Candace Pert (author of Molecules of Emotion) has stated that your body is your subconscious mind. She has also pointed out that once you look at human function at the level of the messenger molecules, there is nowhere else to go but to an understanding of
energy. In an audiotape presentation of her work it is stated that, “Dr. Pert’s work is beginning to reveal the scientific underpinnings of the chakra system.”

Dr. Valerie Hunt and her associates also found evidence to corroborate the theory that memory is stored in the body’s tissues. Through her observations she came to believe that the energy centers play a key role in the encoding of memory.

Dr. Susan Lark in “The Lark Letter: A Woman’s Guide To Optimal Health & Balance” states, “In fact, every chakra is individually
linked to neurological synapses (ganglia), small bundles that operate like little brain centers. Each of the seven chakras then processes and remembers different emotional events and traumas that affect you throughout your lifetime. In fact, you can even store specific types of emotional memories in these centers.”

For centuries there has been information primarily from Eastern Philosophies and Medicine that the energy system is the vehicle through which our memories are stored and carried through our lives.

So, as we view the process of transferring our life experience to the cell tissue of our body from this perspective, it makes sense
to use energetic methods to intervene and influence the process in a positive way. Through these interventions we can shift and change belief patterns, erase negative conditioning and install new, more useful and powerful beliefs into our systems.

The success and strength of these kinds of interventions have been observed by both practitioners and clients in our culture for some time. However, the underlying scientific mechanism through which change occurred was not well understood. For this reason they seemed magical, mysterious and perhaps not to be trusted. Now that we have a better awareness of the underpinnings of such methods we can use them with more skill and benefit from their power and effectiveness.

A key factor to remember when beginning to work with beliefs and old memories is that habitual patterns of thought and strong emotions resonate intensely through the field. What we think about and feel affects the patterns our energy will take. In addition to affecting our health and general functioning, this also affects our access to higher levels of function such a creativity, intuition and spiritual experience. From this perspective full access to our incredible human potential means working to eliminate habitual,
negative mental and emotional patterns.

It is easy to negate the effect of these negative states as their consequence is initially invisible.  We may think they are innocuous, but they are having a very real impact. One or all of our field’s aspects may be involved initially: the physical, mental or emotional. Over time all facets are affected if the stimulus is strong or repetitive enough.

As previously mentioned, coping strategies also develop and become chronic patterns that are anchored in the psyche and the body. These patterns then shape our energy, create body armor and ultimately lead to the breakdown of emotional and physical health

In addition to the affect on the flow of our energy negative thoughts, emotions and beliefs also dissipate a great deal of energy that could be used for more constructive or fun purposes. We have the choice of how we use our minds and manage our emotions and thus in what direction our energy will flow. Your mind decides what thoughts to think, what feelings to allow/how to process them, and what beliefs you will live by.

It is a great beginning to reshaping our life experience to be open , question your beliefs and consider that the people and events showing up in your life provide opportunities to question your beliefs. It does require integrating and working with a different perspective but one that frees you to live more joyously in the long run!

Discovering Your Passion and Purpose

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

100_0106 Discovering your passion and purpose is an arduous task if you go at it through your conscious mind only. The mind can be a trickster, certainly a “rationalizer” and at times a downright liar! It may be doing its best to protect, defend or help, but it simply is not up to the task of your deepest wisdom nor is it your most reliable source of the most important information about your self and your highest ideals and desires.

Information regarding our internal state is always coming to us in several ways – our physical, emotional and mental faculties are always giving clues about our energy and inner being. In addition, our energy system can offer a great deal of useful data if we take the time to learn how to comprehend it.

We can also stay aware of how the various aspects of the mind communicate with us and blend that into our energetic awareness. The conscious mind is aware of concepts and ideas; the subconscious speaks through feelings or lack of them – the body clearly tells us what is happening in our subconscious mind if we know how to listen. Higher awareness tends to speak through imagery, subtle sensing, or an unmistakable kind of knowing when you sincerely request to know the truth of a matter.

The human energy and chakra system are the vehicles through which we develop and encode our life experience into our cellular memory, so they provide us with a very useful, simple and organized way to look at our values and beliefs as well as with a means to understand how beliefs affect the organization of our energies.

It has been our experience that uncovering and releasing nonproductive beliefs and engaging your passion is easier and more effective when you know how consciousness flows through the energy system. Working with your energy system enables you to bring all facets of being – mind, body and spirit…thought, feeling and sensing – together to transport your whole vibration up tone so you can magnetically attract what you desire for your life.

From Sacred Truths, the soon to be released next recording in the Personal Energy Empowerment Series.
