Laying the Groundwork for 2012

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

March 1, 2010

What is 2012 about? Change. Lots of it. It is already happening actually and will continue on past the touted date of 12/21/12. So what does it mean for humanity? What does it mean for you? How will you be challenged? How can you rise to the challenges? As we move toward 2012 it is helpful to understand the great transition that is underway and know what is required to rise to these challenges.

Join Peg Donahue, Karen Kallie and Tony Pace for this lively discussion.

Understanding Surrender and Acceptance

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

Whenever we are wishing for something to be different from what it is, we are energetically holding it in our lives.

In our culture the word surrender is loaded with negative connotations, such as giving up, wimping out, being weak, unable to cut it. However, surrender in the context that we are using it is a deep feeling of letting go of struggle and conflict: it is about accepting what is in the moment, not fighting it – accepting the reality even as we seek to see what can be done to change or move beyond it.

Surrender helps to bring your heart into coherence through the inner peace and calm it generates. To truly surrender we need to let go of wanting, yearning, wishing, needing and directing. When we are in these states, our focus is on what we feel we don’t have. We are in a vibration of lack or scarcity. Sometimes we become stuck and even paralyzed by these feelings.

Since our energy reflects our inner state, it is stuck, paralyzed, not moving, so it holds us in place rather than moving freely so it can be channeled in a stronger, more positive direction.

When our focus is on what is missing from our lives, we create more of what we feel we don’t have. We create more of what is missing. Developing an attitude of acceptance – acceptance of the way things ARE – enables you to move beyond patterns of resistance and bring peace to your heart. Acceptance does not mean that something or someone is right or wrong. Acceptance is acknowledging things just the way they are now. It’s just allowing them to be, without judgment. Judgments tear at our energy and do us much more harm than the person, place or thing that we are judging.

APPLYING ALCHEMY: Turning Concepts into Reality

Friday, February 26th, 2010

Our true power is in Being … not in mere intellectual thought. This is an important key concept for creating. We have said before that conceptual knowledge is not enough to turn desire into reality; intellectual understanding is only the first step to conscious creation. The most powerful tools and techniques for the materialization of our thoughts are those that move us into a state of BEING that matches what we desire to create.

In Chapter 8 of 12 Keys we explore methods that help you to do just that: take energy from the realm of thought and transform it – through feeling – into the world of manifestation.

Using these methods and developing the qualities discussed will help you enhance your creative power and expand your self mastery. When we are in harmony with the universe, creation flows as a natural result. The mind “laser focuses” as we master the challenge of energetically bringing our heart and mind into alignment and harmony with the higher frequencies of creative power.

Coherence of our energy is an important factor in health, well-being and conscious creation. The topics covered in this session are significant, as they promote coherence and whole body integration … a peaceful blending of body, mind and spirit.

The Impact of Thought and Emotion

Thoughts, emotions and feelings of all types are a major part of our human experience. They (along with free will and judgment) differentiate us from animals and other life forms.

As humans, we have a wide range of emotions. We are meant to feel. If we are to be healthy, fully express our authentic nature and bring the best of our selves to the world, then we must know how to let emotions move fluidly and easily through our systems and not repress them or get stuck in them!

Knowing how to work positively with all our emotions builds our energy and helps us move more rapidly and simply toward the lives we desire. We hold memory all throughout our body-mind … no experience escapes our notice. Our life experience is imprinted through our energy and nervous system into our biochemistry and into the cells and organs of our body.

Thoughts and feelings affect the energy throughout all our systems, but perhaps most important is how they connect deeply in the heart and help shape our experience of the world. Our thoughts and feelings are two primary ways we manage our energy, but they don’t necessarily always work in unison. We are very capable of thinking one thing and feeling another. We can “know” something in our mind and experience it a totally different way in our heart and body.

Cellular memory is imprinted more through how we feel about something than through how we think about it or how we rationalize it. As a result, we have the feeling police deep inside: the body knows your truth! This is why it is so critical to clear the patterns and beliefs of the past – not because we are bad or have sinned and need to set our records straight, but because through our lack of knowledge and awareness, we have created obstacles that block our health, well being and happiness.

11 Healthy Heart Benefits of Gratitude and Appreciation

Friday, February 19th, 2010

Heart feelings of genuine care, love, gratitude, appreciation and compassion create coherence in the heart and have a profound effect on the body.

 Heart Coherence helps to:

  1. Shift heart rhythms toward smooth, ordered patterns
  2. Stimulate healthy neural, hormonal, biochemical, and energetic flow to organs
  3. Improve brain function
  4. Reduce sympathetic nervous system activity
  5. Decrease blood pressure
  6. Release stress hormones
  7. Diminish fight/flight response
  8. Increase parasympathetic nervous system activity and decreases heart rate
  9. Improve body system efficiency
  10. Boost DHEA production (anti-aging!)
  11. Enhance IGA (immune response) proportionately with core heart feelings

Heart Coherence helps you experience well-being right down to the cellular level! We can LEARN to trigger all these effects at will.

Resolving the Pitfalls in Co-creation

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

Using tools that clear, balance and strengthen your personal energy will help ensure that your energetic requests are ones that you want to show up in your life.

In spite of having a great deal of knowledge regarding the topic of conscious creation, many people still have difficulty making the process work for them. This can lead to discouragement or to abandonment of the process altogether.

One reason for the difficulties in learning how to consciously create is that navigating the inner landscape and the world of energy requires different attitudes, approaches, and tools than does navigating the exterior world. Another is that it generally takes time to learn and integrate new ways of being. It is possible to have huge shifts in no time at all, but most of us will probably need some degree of persistence, patience and perseverance as we adopt new attitudes, methods and world views. It took time to form the patterns you now have, so it may take time to shift into new patterns and frequencies and sustain them. Soon enough the new patterns and frequencies will become Self reinforcing, especially if you adopt a light playful attitude.

The specific approaches we cover in Session 5 of 12 Keys to Life and Self Mastery help you to move beyond some of the common pitfalls to co-creating in your life.

 You will learn how to:

  • Effectively affirm and support your truest desires
  • Identify the hidden dynamics that block your desires
  • Set intentions that universal energy can readily respond to
  • Discern between willingness and willpower; shift to ease in creation
