Monday, October 22nd, 2007Here is a poem contributed by one of our teleclass participants—an awareness that came to her after a time of great turmoil.
In my mind (Karen) it speaks to the deeper, softer place that is available to us always. Unfortunately we often contact it through the doorway of pain instead of consciously developing the contact. The task seems to be to create a stronger connection to this place that holds our soul’s presence, and allow more space for it to take up resonance in our lives.

at peace
with my world
in spite of the way
things have been
with hope
for the future
no weight on
my feet
in the midst
of the sadness
tears turned
to cooling rain
restful
not so restless
at peace
again
